San Marzano tomatoes are famous for their intense and sweet flavour, firm pulp and delicate acidity. They have low seed count and easily removable skin.

Cover seeds only lightly, do not allow them the soil to dry out. Germination takes 3-10 days, then move the seedlings to bright light.
